I welcomed CEO of the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF SPC), Isaac Anthony, who explained the important and pivotal role CCRIF continues to play in Jamaica’s recovery and resilience efforts. He commended Jamaica for our forward-thinking decision to secure disaster insurance, an investment that has allowed us to respond, recover, and begin reconstruction far more quickly after Hurricane Melissa.
