[WazirX Founder Responds to Ownership Dispute with Binance: Now in Litigation, No Impact on Platform Operations] According to Foresight News, as reported by TheStreet, Nischal Shetty, founder of the Indian cryptocurrency exchange WazirX, responded in an interview to the long-standing ownership dispute with Binance, stating that the dispute has now entered the litigation stage. Shetty reiterated that WazirX was sold to Binance between late 2019 and early 2020. Although Binance has since denied holding any shares, WazirX possesses legal documents proving the ownership relationship. Shetty stated that the current focus is on the platform's relaunch and rebuilding, and the final outcome of the ownership dispute will be determined by legal proceedings. He emphasized that the dispute will not significantly affect users on an operational level, and WazirX's updated terms of service have explicitly outlined the ownership issues and dispute details, providing greater transparency for users. Currently, WazirX has resumed operations after completing a restructuring process approved by a Singapore court.
