Polygon @0xMiden is the fourth chain in the @0xPolygon ecosystem, positioned as an 'Edge ZK-Rollup' to rival zkSync and StarkNet: It offloads execution and state to the client side, where users locally generate recursive zk-STARK proofs, with only a single verification on-chain, balancing high throughput and privacy. Features include: 1. Hybrid Notes (Accounts + UTXO), enabling assets to be both contract-callable and anonymously transferable; 2. Rust → WASM contracts and native account abstraction (multi-sig, social recovery) to further enhance security and usability. In April 2025, it completed a $25M Seed round (led by 1kx and Hack VC, with participation from a16z and Polygon Ventures).
