[Zama Launches Testnet v2, Users Can Build and Deploy Applications]
Foresight News reports that Rand, the founder of FHE cryptography company Zama, tweeted that Zama has launched Testnet v2. This version of the testnet serves as a candidate for the upcoming mainnet and includes all the features and functionalities of the mainnet. Users can build and deploy applications on this testnet. The team is currently conducting stress tests on Testnet v2, and after multiple rounds of testing and feedback, the Zama mainnet test version will be deployed. Additionally, the initial phase of the mainnet will run on Ethereum, with other chains to be integrated gradually in 2026.
According to a previous report by Foresight News, based on the roadmap released in Zama's lightpaper, the Zama testnet has already gone live, with the mainnet and TGE planned for launch in Q4 2025. It is also expected to expand to other EVM chains in the first half of 2026 and deploy on Solana in the second half of 2026.
