First, I thank God for saving me and others in 1973 when Amin’s soldiers surrounded us in Mwambe’s house. Two of my colleagues were killed that day. I survived by His grace. Today, I was in Manafwa to present the NRM Manifesto for 2026–2031, which highlights the seven major contributions we have made to Uganda and Africa over the last 40 years beginning with peace, development, and wealth creation. Peace was not easy to achieve, but we built it by valuing every Ugandan, regardless of tribe, religion, or gender. Under the NRM, Uganda now enjoys peace, good roads, electricity, clean water, and schools. In Manafwa, 96% of villages have safe water, and we are upgrading health centres and schools to reach every community. Wealth creation and jobs remain our focus through programs like the four-acre model. Mwanyaala naabi Bamasaba!
