3. Risks of OKB
3.1 Star doesn’t want to fight anymore
This is purely a personal preference. Since 2013, they’ve been battling on the frontlines of cryptocurrency. They’ve made enough money, gained enough fame, and they’re not young anymore. It’s understandable that they don’t want to keep expanding.
3.2 Slow IPO progress
It’s been several years since I first heard about OKX planning to go public. As a Chinese exchange, it has always survived in the cracks. Compliance is indeed the direction for the future, but it’s also the reins holding back progress. If this drags on for a few more years, everyone will lose patience.
