According to CCTV News, as reported by Golden Finance, on October 14 local time, the U.S. Senate failed to pass a procedural vote, unable to advance a temporary funding bill proposed by the Republican Party. The bill required 60 votes to proceed, but the voting results were 49 in favor and 45 against. It is reported that if the temporary funding bill were passed, it would provide funding for the government until November 21. However, the bill did not include any healthcare provisions proposed by the Democratic Party.
