CertiK founder Gu Ronghui appears on KBW main forum: deepening cooperation, sharing insights, and strengthening Korean layout BlockBeats News: On September 23rd, at the main forum of South Korean Blockchain Week (KBW), Professor Gu Ronghui, co-founder and CEO of CertiK, participated in a roundtable discussion titled "Stop the Hacks: The State of Smart Contract Security" to share Web3 security trends and challenges. Gu Ronghui stated that this is his third visit to South Korea. CertiK has reached a government level cooperation agreement with Busan and established a branch in Seoul to continue expanding its presence in the Korean market. On site, he specifically clarified the industry's misinterpretation of the "Annual Web3 Security Report" - the claim that "$1.4 billion in losses were caused by smart contract vulnerabilities last year" actually included multiple factors such as human error. He pointed out that there is no such thing as an absolutely secure program, and CertiK has built a multi-level protection system that covers code review, auditing, and continuous monitoring to cope with evolving attacks. However, the current industry security budget is generally insufficient, far below market promotion expenses. Taking WEMIX's over 120 audits and Kaia's selection of CertiK as the exclusive security partner as examples, we call on project parties to pay attention to security investment.
