🖼️ AINFT Foundation Collection: UNTITLED (KIMPSONS) - KAWS This iconic work was created in 2001, a major milestone in KAWS’ career when he made his first acrylic paintings on canvas. Part of his debut solo show in Tokyo, the piece features his KIMPSONS characters with X-ed out eyes and puffy crossbones. Titled THE PACKAGE PAINTING SERIES, the works were uniquely presented in toy-style plastic packaging. It was purchased at the JAY CHOU x SOTHEBY’S "Contemporary Curated: Asia" auction, a special collaboration with pop star and art collector Jay Chou, who also shared his insights during the sale.(AINFT)
