BlockBeats reported on September 14, citing the Financial Times, that Tesla Chair Robyn Denholm defended her decision to grant Elon Musk a trillion-dollar stock option package, stating that he is a "unique" CEO who must exert extraordinary effort and achieve "seemingly impossible goals" to earn this historic reward.
In an interview, Denholm said: "To achieve the visionary goals we have set, he must dedicate an extraordinary amount of time, energy, and effort. This is absolutely not an easy task. It is an extremely ambitious plan... If he can accomplish it, he deserves an unprecedented reward."
Denholm also defended the board's "non-interference" stance on Musk's controversial political positions, emphasizing that he has the right to free speech and possesses the unique qualities Tesla needs. (Jin10)
