This is what I think about Tesla: long-term bullish, but everyone knows Tesla's revenue and stock price are definitely mismatched. It's a high-valuation, tech-growth company. After the recent series of grand plans, compensation plans, FSD, robots, and sci-fi-like battery prospects were rolled out, retail investor sentiment has been overly hyped in the short term. Plus, Elon Musk himself stepped in to buy shares and prop up the stock price. In the short term, I can't see any new catalysts or fresh capital entering the market. Pushing a stock higher requires new funds stepping in. For most big investors, buying Tesla right now is still an act of faith, a venture investment. They don't need to go all-in during the 0-to-1 phase; they can totally wait until the narrative reaches "1" and then buy during the 1-to-10 expansion phase. So, Tesla's stock price is likely to experience significant short-term fluctuations. I think doing some swing trading might be better. For long-term holders, aiming to hold more shares over the next 1-2 years through swing trading and holding might be a better strategy.
