Starting this September, students in several rural communities will benefit from the rollout of a Public School Bus System. Too often, students are exposed to harmful influences on unregulated public transport. We’re changing that, by providing structured, secure, and values-driven environments from home to school and back. The benefits in terms of improved behaviour, protected childhoods, and national development are immeasurable. This is just one of the many efforts our government is undertaking to build a Jamaica that supports and uplifts every child, no matter where they live.(Andrew Holness)
