A year ago, we launched the rehabilitation and expansion of the Etio Dam in Kapteren, Keiyo North Constituency. We are pleased it has been completed on time. The project will transform the lives of more than 8,000 households in Elgeyo Marakwet County. With a storage capacity of 160 Million litres, the Etio Dam Phase I Project will help put more than 2,500 acres under irrigation. This will boost the cultivation of passion fruits, avocado, cabbages, kales and potatoes, hence creating jobs and increasing household income.
