According to a report by Golden Finance, Michael Saylor, a staunch supporter of Bitcoin and founder of Strategy, stated in an interview with Bloomberg that he is not concerned about quantum computing posing a threat to Bitcoin, stating that it has been excessively hyped. Saylor believes that quantum computing poses a real threat to traditional systems such as Microsoft, Google, JPMorgan Chase, and the US government, rather than Bitcoin. He emphasized that even if quantum technology makes breakthroughs in the next ten to twenty years, the blockchain system is fully capable of upgrading to withstand risks. The current more realistic threat is phishing, not quantum attacks.
