In February, a real-time data stream service that can be subscribed to on the chain was integrated, allowing developers to access external data feeds. At the beginning of this month, we upgraded CCIP to further support cross chain bridging of USDC. In the short term, although it can be achieved through Pull Oracle+TWAP technology, in the long run, a standard oracle is still needed. If the oracle is not integrated, DeFi applications that require precise pricing and real-time clearing functions will have significant limitations, and the security of the platform will also be reduced, making it easy to receive erroneous operations. The most important thing is that the overall ecology is affected, and users and funds dare not play at all. At the same time, the AAVE team also mentioned that if there is no oracle, it will never be deployed. Looking forward to the successful integration negotiation between BOB and Chainlink. I am still looking forward to BOB, although it is currently running on ETH Rollup and supports BTC liquidity and Defi applications. But the next phase of upgrading is the highlight, which will be achieved through POW+staking+ZK to transfer BTC between Bitcoin and the BOB network.
