If the GOP Senate were smart rather than worthless, they would let the top TCJA tax rates revert to 39.6% (400 billion to 10 year deficit reduction), and call it a day. Lock up elections for a generation by taking away the only chit that the Democrats have left. Then DOGE cuts.
