OKX launches xBTC on Aptos, ushering in a new era of on chain DeFi

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to official sources, OKX announced the launch of encapsulated Bitcoin asset xBTC on the Aptos mainnet. Aptos users can now cast xBTC on the OKX platform and seamlessly integrate it into the Aptos network for DeFi applications such as trading and lending. In addition, Hyperion, Echo Protocol, and Aries Markets, the three major Aptos DeFi projects, will launch a special event in collaboration with OKX Wallet on May 23rd at 3:00 pm (UTC+8) to promote the deep integration of xBTC in the Aptos ecosystem. The Aptos Foundation stated that the launch of xBTC not only enhances the on chain financial practicality of BTC, but also demonstrates Aptos' leading advantages in high performance, security, and scalability, further stimulating on chain liquidity and developer ecosystem development.
