OpenAI launches Pioneers program to develop industry-specific AI evaluation standards

OpenAI announced the launch of the Pioneers Program, aimed at developing AI model evaluation benchmarks for industries such as law, finance, and healthcare to improve the current evaluation system's detachment from reality. OpenAI stated that it will collaborate with multiple companies to design and publicly disclose industry-specific evaluation criteria. The first batch will select a group of startups focused on high-value real-world applications to participate, while assisting them in enhancing and fine-tuning model performance.
