[Former Mt.Gox CEO: A Ledger Flex Sold at Singapore Airport Confirmed to Contain Spyware Implant]
According to a report by Jinse Finance on October 13, former Mt.Gox CEO Mark Karpelès (@MagicalTux) posted on the X platform that a Ledger Flex device sold at Singapore Airport has been confirmed to contain a spyware implant. He stated that user @BenYorke discovered suspicious traces on the device and chose not to use it, instead sending it to him for inspection, which might have been the best decision. BenYorke previously mentioned that he purchased the Ledger Flex this summer at Singapore Airport for $300 through Metapod. The device had never been powered on, but the casing already showed scratches, suggesting possible tampering. Karpelès also shared a video of the inspection process.
