[Kraken Launches S&P 500 Perpetual Contracts in Proprietary Trading Program, Plans to Expand into More Commodities in the Future]
According to Cointelegraph, U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has introduced S&P 500 index perpetual contract products in its proprietary trading program, Kraken Prop, providing 24/7 exposure for traders who pass the evaluation. The product is priced based on index oracle data, has no expiration date or rollover requirements, supports up to 5x leverage, and offers a maximum nominal exposure of $1 million. Kraken plans to expand into more traditional assets such as commodities in the future. The starting price for the Kraken Prop evaluation program is $20, and successful participants can receive funded accounts ranging from $5,000 to $200,000. Previously, in July, Kraken provided retail investors with Jersey Mike's IPO stock allocation services.
