Actually, Eastern investors have a natural advantage when trading U.S. stocks.
I’ve studied quite a few U.S. stock strategies from quantitative firms in Singapore and Hong Kong and distilled their complex monitoring logic into a simple formula that anyone can understand.
It’s especially useful for predicting U.S. stock market openings on Mondays.
✅ U.S. Stock Six-Step Formula: Weekend News + U.S. Stock Futures + Asia Relay + Macro Signals + Europe Confirmation = U.S. Stock Market Opening Direction
✅ How does it work?
1. Before 11:59 PM on Sunday: Check for any breaking news over the weekend, such as wars, tariffs, policies, or corporate scandals.
2. Monday at 6:00 AM: S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures resume trading—this is the first quote provided by global capital.
3. Monday at 8:00 AM: Japanese and Korean stock markets open. See if Asian capital aligns with the direction.
4. Monday at 9:30 AM: Hong Kong and A-shares open. Further confirm if the Asian markets are resonating in the same direction.
5. Monday at 3:00 PM: Major European stock markets open. Also, observe any movements in the U.S. Dollar Index, U.S. Treasury yields, gold, and crude oil.
6. Monday at 9:30 PM: U.S. stock market officially opens, and all prior expectations are priced in.
If there’s significant U.S. economic data being released that day, pay extra attention to fluctuations around 8:30 PM.
If the first five signals align, the opening direction is usually clear.
If the first five signals conflict, don’t rush to place bets.
See that?
Before the U.S. stock market opens at 9:30 PM, Eastern investors have already reviewed five rounds of global capital votes.
But let’s be clear: this formula doesn’t guarantee profits. However, whether you’re trading contracts or spot, it can help you avoid many losses at the opening. #InvestingTips #USStocks #TradingStrategy
