**[PayPal Q2 Revenue Reaches $8.68 Billion, Advances Stablecoin and AI Payment Tools]** Odaily Planet Daily News – Global payment company PayPal announced its second-quarter performance, reporting earnings per share of $1.26, compared to $1.30 in the same period last year, falling short of analysts' expectations of $1.28. Revenue reached $8.68 billion, surpassing $8.29 billion from the same period last year and exceeding analysts' consensus estimate of $8.47 billion. PayPal recorded a $81 million non-GAAP adjustment related to strategic investments and gains and losses from cryptocurrency assets held for investment purposes. In its Q2 investor presentation, PayPal noted that the company is leveraging its payment network, risk infrastructure, and trust capabilities to expand proxy payments, stablecoins, identity, and biometric technologies. PayPal also revealed that its PayPal World platform facilitated approximately $200 million in total payment volume between Venmo and PayPal.
