[South Korea Pension Funds End Six Consecutive Months of Net Selling in Korean Stock Market, Turn to Net Buying for the First Time This Month] According to reports from CaiLian News Agency, data from the Korea Exchange shows that pension funds, including the National Pension Service (NPS), one of the largest institutional investors in the Korean stock market, have turned to net buying for the first time this month. Data from the Korea Exchange indicates that as of July 24, the National Pension Service and other pension funds have cumulatively net bought KOSPI index constituent stocks worth 68.4 billion Korean won (approximately $46.8 million) since July. This marks the first single-month net buying by pension funds this year after six consecutive months of net selling. From the perspective of individual stocks, SK Hynix has been the most purchased stock by pension funds since July, with a net buying amount reaching 425.8 billion Korean won.
