[South Korea's Kookmin Bank to Launch Cross-Border Corporate Payment Service Based on JPMorgan's Blockchain Payment Network in August]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that South Korea's Kookmin Bank (KB Kookmin Bank) has announced plans to launch a cross-border corporate payment service in August, based on JPMorgan's blockchain payment network, Kinexys. This makes it the first financial institution in South Korea to apply this network for settlement services for import and export businesses. It is reported that the service will initially support remittances in US dollars (USD), covering 10 countries including the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. The service is expected to significantly reduce cross-time-zone payment times with regions such as the United States and the Middle East. (Dailyenews)
