It should be obvious to everyone that frontier model companies are going to CONTINUE to compete with their largest customers Claude and ChatGPT have already taken on their own customers from Cursor, 11labs and Figma and countless other smaller startups DO NOT TRUST THEM The only way to avoid this is for startups to use open source and not give any money, data or knowledge to these partners immediately! This also means that OpenAI and Anthropic will be losing MANY their top customers over the next year That’s a significant headwind against their profits and customer base.
