**[Changxin Firmly Raises Prices, Domestic Memory Manufacturers Expand Production]** According to monitoring by Beating and a report from Reuters, AI data centers are driving up memory demand, prompting Changxin Memory and Yangtze Memory to raise prices and expand production. Previously, the two companies primarily relied on low prices to capture market share, but now they can select their customers, with some products even selling at higher prices than overseas giants. Sources familiar with the matter told Reuters that Changxin has repeatedly raised prices for Huawei. Even after Huawei requested price reductions, Changxin refused to compromise. Changxin is currently constructing two new factories in Shanghai and Hefei and is considering building a third one. Once fully operational, its monthly production capacity will exceed 600,000 wafers, more than doubling its current output. Yangtze Memory also plans to add two new factories, one of which is expected to be completed this year. The new production capacity is expected to start rolling out as early as 2027, at which point the two companies may be able to expand overseas supply after meeting domestic demand. Several domestic tech and electronics companies have already filed complaints with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) regarding the price hikes. Domestic memory manufacturers, once worried about unsold inventory, now face a bigger issue: insufficient production capacity. [Original Link]
