Yesterday, I came across a video from @影视飓风 and learned that World Cup ads are actually tailored to different regions. They’re using a virtual imaging VR technology that seamlessly integrates different ads even during live broadcasts. So the broadcast you’re watching (like on Xiaohongshu or CCTV) is typically customized for China’s broadcasting rights + local advertisers, maximizing resource efficiency. A few days ago, while watching the matches, I noticed that prediction markets are going all out with ads this time—like Kalshi or Predict Street. The former is super well-known, but I hadn’t heard of the latter. I did some digging and found out that this World Cup’s official prediction market runs on a blockchain from Abu Dhabi called ADI Chain. I was totally blown away—there’s actually an official prediction market! They’re seriously loaded @ADIChain_. FIFA has set up the official prediction market on a regulated, institutional-grade blockchain. In the Middle East! This is the first time a global consumer scenario involving billions of people has real transaction volume settled on-chain. The chain’s gas token is ADI, and there’s also a stablecoin—the UAE Central Bank-authorized dirham stablecoin DDSC. All settlements happen exclusively on ADI Chain, and it’s already processed AED 150 million. Plus, BlackRock, Mastercard, Franklin Templeton, BNY Mellon—the world’s largest custodian bank with $59 trillion in assets under custody—and M-Pesa, Africa’s largest mobile payment network, all seem to be on the collaboration list. From what I can see, this is tokenization on a national scale. Abu Dhabi is essentially tokenizing an entire real economy—funds, bonds, real estate, stablecoins—layer by layer onto this chain. BCG predicts the digital asset market will grow from $600 billion in 2025 to $18.9 trillion by 2033. FIFA is pulling in traffic and transaction volume, but the real pressure lies on the underlying infrastructure. Every transaction, every settlement uses ADI for gas. The more people and transactions, the stronger the demand for ADI. What do you guys think?
