Many people may not have realized the issue of Binance's US stock market yet!
Last night when I came across a Binance post, my first reaction was: Has the AUM of US stock assets exceeded 1 billion US dollars? And it's still the first month?
This is not just a simple 'Binance has launched a new feature', to put it simply, this is when encrypted users start voting with their feet. Why do you say that?
In the past, ordinary people who wanted to buy US stocks had to open an account, go through the review process, exchange foreign currency, deposit funds, and wait for the account to be credited. After completing the process, many people gave up before even starting.
But now the logic has changed, and many people's first financial account may no longer be a securities firm, but Binance!!!
We first have stablecoins, trading accounts, get used to the 24-hour market, and then we can easily buy US stocks, ETF, Technology stocks. I think this is the real scary thing about this $1 billion AUM.
This does not simply mean that "Binance and the US stock market have become popular", but rather that a trend is happening, where encrypted accounts are becoming global asset accounts. Previously, when people referred to RWA, many thought it was a distant concept.
But once the stock assets come in directly, this suddenly becomes very specific. Users may not necessarily care whether you call it RWA, tokenized stocks, or even a global market entrance.
Actually, most users only care about one thing:
Can I conveniently purchase good global assets? Can I avoid running around in a big circle? Can I use my familiar wallet and account to complete the configuration?
Binance has directly provided the answer this time, and it can be said that the market has already voted for this real-time with 1 billion US dollars.
More importantly, this batch of 1 billion US dollars is mostly from emerging markets, which is quite interesting, isn't it
Because for ordinary users in many countries and regions, buying US stocks is not about 'not wanting to buy', but 'too much trouble'. They do not have no demand, but rather lack sufficient convenient access in the past.
Now that the entrance has changed, funds will naturally move, so I think that the Binance US stock issue should not be just seen as a product achievement.
I think it's more like a signal. In the future, users' asset allocation may no longer be so clear. Previously, coins were coins, US stocks were US stocks, ETFs were ETFs, and RWAs were RWAs.
But the tokenization of Binance US stocks may ultimately be transferred to one place, which is an account that connects global assets.
Sister Yi said, 'The journey has just begun.' I don't think this sentence is polite!
If the first month is $1 billion, then what is truly worth watching in the future is not whether it can continue to rise, but whether traditional financial entry points will be redefined.
In my opinion, the cryptocurrency industry is not out of money now. Money is just getting smarter and it will start to move towards more convenient, globalized, and efficient places.
So this is the most noteworthy aspect of Binance's US stock market!!!!
