BlockBeats News, July 2 — SoftBank Corp. and SoftBank Group Corp. jointly announced the establishment of SB Neo, Inc. (tentative name) in the United States, focusing on operating Neocloud services. SB Neo will be incorporated in Delaware in July 2026, with SoftBank Corp. holding a 51% stake and SoftBank Group Corp. holding a 49% stake, making it a consolidated subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. SB Neo will leverage the 10-gigawatt energy and AI infrastructure currently being developed by SoftBank Group, aiming to launch Neocloud services in the U.S. during the fiscal year 2027 (ending March 2028). These services will provide computational resources required for large-scale AI model training and inference to major U.S. enterprises, including hyperscale cloud service providers. The infrastructure will be expanded in phases, with the ultimate goal of deploying a 10-gigawatt AI infrastructure. SoftBank Corp. has already launched a beta version of GPU cloud services in Japan in May 2026, based on 'Infrinia AI Cloud OS,' and plans to apply this experience to the U.S. market. SoftBank Group is currently advancing a large-scale AI infrastructure project in the U.S. and will provide full support to SB Neo in terms of infrastructure, talent, and other resources. SoftBank Group Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son stated: 'SoftBank Group will work together to build world-class AI infrastructure and drive the AI revolution.' --------------------------------- Click the link below to access the original article and join the Beating · Feishu AI News Channel for 24/7 global AI news monitoring.
