[Iranian President Emphasizes U.S. Compliance Before Iran Fulfills Obligations]
Golden Finance reported that on June 30, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi posted on social media on the evening of June 29 local time, stating, 'Understanding is mutual. If the U.S. adheres to the memorandum of understanding, we will also fulfill our obligations. In the face of unreasonable boasting and baseless threats, our stance is: make decisions with rationality and dignity, and respond with resolute and fearless actions.'
Although the U.S. has repeatedly stated that it will hold talks with Iran today (June 30) in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in an effort to resolve disputes surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, and mentioned that U.S. Presidential Envoy Robert Malley and President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner would fly to Doha, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani emphasized on June 29 local time that Iran will not hold any level of negotiations with the U.S. in the coming days. Kanaani stated that Iran will send an expert delegation to Doha this week to follow up on related matters, but the U.S. delegation's trip to Doha is unrelated to the Iranian expert delegation's visit.
