Morgan Stanley strategist: European Stoxx 600 index expected to rise 7% by the end of the year According to a report by Golden Finance, on June 29th, JPMorgan strategists raised the year-end target level of European benchmark stock indexes, citing that market funds will no longer only pile up on artificial intelligence related stocks, and the market coverage will continue to expand. The strategy team led by Misraf Matijka currently predicts that the Stoxx 600 index will touch around 680 points by the end of the year, with about 7% upside potential from the current level. The team wrote in the research report: "We maintain an optimistic attitude towards the market in the second half of the year and continue to be optimistic about the trading mainline of cyclical sectors. The market situation in the second quarter is highly concentrated in a few leading companies, and there may be sector rotation in the future funds." The strategist also believes that the pullback of large technology stocks in the US is difficult to sustain, and this round of decline is mainly dominated by technical and position structure factors. In addition, the bank raised its target level for the UK FTSE 100 index by the end of 2026 from 10300 points to 11000 points.
