[U.S. Central Command: Additional Strikes on Multiple Iranian Targets]
Odaily Planet Daily News – The U.S. Central Command stated that on June 27, under the direction of the commander, U.S. Central Command forces carried out additional strikes on multiple Iranian targets. Previously, the U.S. had conducted strikes on Iran in response to an Iranian attack on the cargo ship "M/V EverLovely." At 4:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, Iranian forces launched a one-way attack drone, striking the Panama-flagged oil tanker "M/T Kiku," which was carrying over 2 million barrels of crude oil, resulting in the vessel's destruction. The U.S. Central Command reported that U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance facilities, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and naval mine deployment capabilities. Commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz continues, with U.S. forces remaining vigilant and on standby.
