[Trump: Iran Agrees to All My Demands]
Reported by Golden Finance, on June 25, according to NBC News, U.S. President Trump delivered a brief statement to the media after concluding a closed-door luncheon with Senate Republicans, discussing oil prices and the progress of negotiations with Iran. 'We had a fantastic meeting. We are proud of this party; we love our leaders, and we love everyone here—of course, there are a few people I don’t like, but that’s okay. I think you know who they are,' Trump said. Trump described the Republican Party as a 'highly united party' and stated that the United States is 'the hottest country in the world.'
'Right now, the number of factories we are building has reached the highest record in the nation’s history, and all these factories will soon be operational. This all means jobs, and our employment numbers are astonishingly good,' he said. 'Additionally, I just saw that oil prices have dropped below the $70 mark. Who would have thought this could happen? And this is during wartime. Iran’s attitude has been very good. They agreed to all my demands, and they must do so.'
However, according to Punchbowl News reporter, a Republican senator described Trump’s meeting as 'the president’s venting session.' Trump was in a bad mood from the start, and his interaction with Senator Cassidy over the Iran issue further exacerbated his emotions. At the time, Trump was criticizing those Republicans who voted to limit war powers.
