[Société Générale: Euro's Decline Against the Dollar May Slow Down]
According to a report by Kit Juckes from Société Générale on June 24, the euro's decline against the dollar may at least slow down. Recently, with rising expectations of Federal Reserve rate hikes and reduced bets on the European Central Bank's tightening policies, the euro fell to a one-year low of 1.1324 against the dollar. Juckes noted that the euro has broken below the 1.14 to 1.20 range where it had been for most of the past year. This could limit the euro's further downside potential. Expectations for the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank have already been adjusted, and we need new economic data to drive the next phase of movement.
