Early morning, the Fed held steady. Opened the charts this morning, and BTC was at 64,600.
From 66,400 down to 63,900, it was just a single move. Honestly, when Warsh didn’t touch rates at his first FOMC, my first thought was, 'It’s stable.' The charts said otherwise.
This isn’t the first time. Good news didn’t pump the market, and then I realized I was making up stories for the charts again. The market doesn’t owe you a rally; it only does one thing: puts the majority in the wrong position.
At 64,600, it didn’t dump further, nor did it V-shape back up. Just moving sideways like this. I don’t have a clear direction right now, but one thing’s for sure: next time I think 'it’s going to pump,' I’ll check the charts before saying anything.
Don’t guess the direction, just watch the reaction.
