[The U.S. Military States the Strait of Hormuz Remains Open]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, on June 12 (local time June 11), the U.S. Central Command issued a statement on social media, saying, "The Strait of Hormuz remains open. The U.S. military has established 'safe passage corridors' for commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. All vessels that do not violate the 'sanctions against Iran' may use these corridors." The statement also noted, "In the past two months, hundreds of vessels have passed through the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. military has made deployments to 'defend against Iranian aggression.' Iran does not control the Strait of Hormuz."
In the early hours of June 11 (local time), after the U.S. military conducted another airstrike on multiple locations in southern Iran, Iran announced that "the Strait of Hormuz is closed to all vessels." (CCTV International News)
