Coinbase is bringing pre-IPO trading to crypto markets. The exchange is launching pre-IPO perpetual futures, giving eligible traders outside the U.S. 24/7 price exposure to private companies before they go public. First up: SpaceX. The contract is USDC-settled, has no expiry date, and will automatically transition into a standard SpaceX perpetual if and when the company goes public. A true sign of the times. ICOs are out.
