Many people may think that OKX Exchange OS is just a new on chain trading system when they first see it, but I tend to see it as a signal that the exchange is starting to "protocol". The biggest problem with on chain finance in the past was not insufficient assets, but rather overly fragmented trading infrastructure. Each project repeatedly builds matching, clearing, margin and risk control systems, ultimately leading to continuous liquidity fragmentation. And what Exchange OS wants to do is to directly open up the most core capabilities of the exchange as underlying infrastructure. In the future, developers, institutions, and even individual teams can build different trading scenarios such as spot trading, contract trading, and predictive markets based on the same system. This is actually like a sinking of capability in the history of the Internet: the platform no longer only serves its own users, but becomes the underlying system used by others by default when building the market. I think this is more worthy of attention than simply creating another public chain. Because the key to future industry competition may no longer be who has the most users, but who can become the "operating system" of the entire financial ecosystem on the chain. @okxchinese OKX
