[Aave, MetaMask Partner with Mastercard to Launch On-Chain Payment Card] Aave, MetaMask, and Mastercard have partnered to launch the MetaMask Card, enabling users to directly spend yield-bearing assets from their Aave wallets. The card can automatically convert assets like mUSD into fiat currency for settlement, while the assets can still accrue interest before the transaction. The MetaMask Card was launched in Europe in July 2025 and can be used at merchants that support Mastercard. Integrated assets include mUSD, USDC, USDT, and wETH.
