According to *The Washington Post*, nearly 70 out of the nearly 300 senior appointees in the Trump administration held cryptocurrency or invested in blockchain and digital asset-related companies, accounting for over one-fifth of the total. Collectively, they held at least approximately $193 million in crypto assets. Trump himself reported holding at least $51 million in digital assets, while Vice President Vance and several cabinet members also disclosed holdings in Bitcoin or related investments. The report noted that, in contrast to the Biden administration, where no cabinet officials reported holding digital currencies, the Trump administration has become the U.S. government with the most widespread crypto asset holdings in history.
