Recently tried out GPT 5.5 and DeepSeek V4 Pro. Just asked some image-text questions that required strong search and reasoning, along with a few self-audit questions. My impression: not much difference between the two. Both provided very rigorous answers, and the data they gave me was consistent. However, DeepSeek basically responded within 10 seconds, while GPT 5.5 took 20 seconds.
