[The Cyberspace Administration of China Launches Special Campaign to Address AI Application Issues]
According to CCTV News, the Cyberspace Administration of China has recently initiated a nationwide four-month special campaign titled 'Clear and Bright: Rectifying AI Application Issues,' which will be carried out in two phases.
The first phase focuses on addressing issues such as the lack of large model registration, insufficient platform security and review capabilities, illegal and non-compliant training data, AI data poisoning, inadequate labeling of synthetic content, misuse of AI for cyberattacks and activities like 'face-swapping' and voice imitation, as well as the absence of security management for open-source models.
The second phase will prioritize rectifying problems such as using AI to 'modify' classics, mass-generating 'digital garbage,' creating and disseminating false information, impersonating public figures and 'reviving the deceased,' producing violent, vulgar, or content harmful to minors, employing AI for 'managed' online troll activities, and offering illicit services such as erotic chat, 'one-click undressing,' and counterfeit AI websites and applications.
