The first point, Keiko Fujimori is already the third generation, so she really can't be considered Japanese anymore; Second, her dad, the famous (or infamous) Alberto Fujimori, is called 'chino' by Peruvians. They can't distinguish which specific Asian country someone is from. At Fujimori's funeral, supporters were shouting 'chino chino' at a Japanese person, which honestly feels pretty outrageous from an Asian perspective; Third, Peru, and even the whole of Latin America, does have serious immigration issues. The main problem is Venezuelan immigrants, who objectively bring quite a lot of organized crime. If you go to certain 'services,' it's basically Venezuelan girls, and behind them are Venezuelan gangs. In a country with a population of 30 million, there are nearly 2 million illegal Venezuelan immigrants, and objectively, this has brought serious public safety problems.
