Drift stolen funds laundering path exposed, Backpack KYC info might be key to tracking the culprit On-chain analyst aryan revealed that the Drift attacker’s address had prepared funds via NEAR Intents as early as 8 days ago, remaining silent until the incident. After succeeding, the attacker transferred the funds to multiple laundering addresses, all of which received funds via Backpack the day before the incident. Since Backpack enforces KYC verification for users, the identity information of related accounts may already be traceable, potentially becoming a critical clue in tracking the attacker.
