MetaPlanet revises Bitcoin capital allocation policy: retains bear market option to increase BTC holdings Japanese Bitcoin treasury company MetaPlanet has announced a revision of its capital allocation policy, which aims to increase fundraising and repurchase flexibility while maintaining its long-term Bitcoin holding strategy. The company currently holds approximately 35100 BTC and will continue to raise funds through various means such as perpetual preferred stock, common stock issuance, social bonds, and credit lines pledged with BTC. The new policy is clear: when the mNAV is less than 1 times, priority will be given to repurchasing stocks to increase BTC holdings per share. At the same time, the possibility of implementing Rights Offerings to increase BTC holdings in bear markets will be reserved when judging favorable shareholders in the medium and long term, and leverage will be controlled below approximately 10% of BTCNAV.
