JPMorgan Chase is facing a class-action lawsuit, accused of aiding and abetting a $328 million cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme. The lawsuit alleges that between 2023 and 2025, the bank provided critical banking infrastructure through its accounts to the fraudulent entity Goliath Ventures and its CEO Christopher Delgado. Despite JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon publicly criticizing Bitcoin multiple times and warning about its risks, the lawsuit claims the bank's internal monitoring software had already flagged red flags such as abnormal fund flows, pooling of funds from new and old investors, and illegal asset misappropriation, yet still processed over $250 million in related deposits.
