[Another Multi-Million Cash Robbery at a Money Exchange Shop in Hong Kong's Busy District, Third Case in Three Months]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on March 7, according to Caixin, on the morning of March 6, two victims were robbed at knifepoint inside the Sheung Wan MTR station in Hong Kong after exchanging approximately HK$10 million at a money exchange shop in Sheung Wan. However, due to prior police deployment, the suspects and stolen goods were apprehended, and the victims suffered no financial loss. It is reported that in the past three months, three major cash robbery cases have occurred in the Sheung Wan area of Hong Kong. Previously, on December 18, 2025, and January 30, two similar cases involving large sums of cash at cryptocurrency-related money exchange shops were reported. Hong Kong police stated they would conduct an in-depth investigation to determine whether other members or criminal groups were behind the incidents and whether this case is connected to the previous robberies.
