**[Europol and FBI Jointly Shut Down Cybercrime Forum LeakBase]**
According to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Europol, and multiple law enforcement agencies conducted a joint operation to successfully shut down the well-known cybercrime forum LeakBase. This forum served as a platform for hackers to trade stolen data and cybercrime tools, boasting over 142,000 members and 215,000 posts. From March 3 to 4, law enforcement agencies carried out synchronized actions against LeakBase and its users, seizing the website, confiscating user accounts and information, and conducting searches and arrests in eight countries, including the United States, Australia, and Belgium.
LeakBase's predecessor, Raidforums, was shut down in 2022, during which the platform leaked personal data of approximately 272,000 users of the cryptocurrency wallet company Ledger.
