An interesting idea. It’s known that ETH’s goals for the next 5 years are: - Mainnet > 10,000 TPS - Single-person staking with 1 ETH, and an extremely low staking threshold - Smaller ledger size (cutting down state) - Faster block confirmation (15 minutes → 12 seconds) Most of these tasks already have EIPs, but they’re tough nuts to crack, and actual development progress has been slow and challenging. So this guy @yq_acc decided not to wait anymore and directly unleashed AI to vibe code all 65 EIPs, big and small It took him 1 week and over $5,000 in token fees. He named this client ETH 2030. ----Divider---- My thoughts: ETH development is slow because there’s so much value tied to it. Every update needs to carefully consider security issues. AI writes code fast, but its security still has some limitations. Also, based on my experience, AI is better at writing code that humans have already created. For groundbreaking stuff, like zkEVM and other new innovations, AI might not perform perfectly due to lack of training. So, expecting it to truly fast-forward Ethereum by 5 years is unrealistic. That said, this is still a super interesting project! Running a test field with just $5,000! It’s like a supercharged version of agile development, so fast-forwarding by 1-2 years is very possible! Still a very cost-effective move!
