Launching a Web3 project with just one sentence? Looks like the golden age for newbies is really here.
At yesterday’s ETHDenver event, Sonic Labs dropped a bombshell called Spawn, making launching projects as easy as chatting with ChatGPT.
In the past, you’d need to write smart contracts, do security audits, and build frontend websites—it would take at least a month to get everything running. Now, all you need to do is say one sentence.
For example, in the demo video below:
‘Help me create a Snake game with an on-chain leaderboard.’
What happens next feels straight out of sci-fi: Spawn will write the Solidity contract for you, automatically deploy it to the Sonic testnet, and instantly generate a complete frontend with wallet connection functionality. In just a few minutes, you’ll have a playable, interactive DApp that can record scores.
It even comes with an AI assistant called Spawny. If you don’t like the look of the generated webpage or want to tweak the token issuance logic, you can simply talk to it or type your request, and it’ll update the code and redeploy in real time.
What I find most fascinating is that this tool completely eliminates outsourcing and development costs. Even if you don’t know how to code, as long as you have a good idea, you can be a one-person development team. Previously, creating an NFT blind box or a simple DeFi protocol would drive you crazy just finding developers and aligning requirements. Now, you can create a prototype in minutes to test market reactions.
Plus, with Sonic’s chain boasting 400,000 TPS performance, high-frequency interactive games or tools run super smoothly on it. If you want to get ahead, I recommend grabbing some test tokens and getting familiar with this tool. In the early days of the Web3 ecosystem, those who can quickly launch products will have the upper hand.
It seems like the barrier to entry for Web3 hasn’t just been lowered—it’s been completely bulldozed by AI. The only thing standing in humanity’s way now is creativity and awareness.
If you want to give it a try, search for Sonic Labs’ official website or check out their Snake game generated with Spawn. The current test version is gradually rolling out access, so I suggest applying for Early Access on their website.
